The chilly weather is officially gone, and the Florida sunshine is here to stay. March is the perfect month to kick off the festival season.

Events commemorate the arts, LGBTQIA+ community, sports and so much more throughout Greater Tampa Bay.

March holds enough entertainment to satisfy Tampeños of all ages.

Gasparilla Festival of the Arts

Calling all art lovers. Expect a weekend jam packed with artists of all media. The Gasparilla Festival of the Arts has become an international melting pot for the arts. “The Little Art Show That Could” features local artists and live entertainment along the Hillsborough River.

When: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 5; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 6

Taco and Margarita Festival

What better way to welcome spring weather than with margaritas and tacos? Executive chefs Brent Lewis and Casey Ryan will serve an incredible combination of signature margaritas and specialty tacos at Raymond James Stadium.

William Michael Morgan and Ryan Cabrera will perform, and pro wrestlers will make appearances. The 2022 Taco and Margarita Festival is guaranteed to be a hit for all ages.

River O’Green Fest

Be on the lookout for leprechauns as the Hillsborough River is dyed green. St. Patrick’s Day has quickly become a fan favorite in GTB. Enjoy food vendors and Irish beer while strolling along the infamous bright green river.

Innings Festival

This is the perfect music festival for any baseball fanatic. Mingle with iconic Major League Baseball legends while listening to the Lumineers, Green Day and the Goo Goo Dolls. Celebrate the Grapefruit League’s spring training season with the biggest pop, rock and alternative bands.

PGA Gold Valspar Championship

The PGA tour returns to GTB. Dustin Johnson and Collin Morikawa go head-to-head on the Copperhead Course. Meanwhile, Chris Young and Big & Rich perform for spectators on Saturday night. Enjoy the weekend filled with golf, great music and Publix subs.

Seventh annual Tampa Pride Diversity Parade, Festival and Pride at Night Concert

The LGBTQIA+ community is loud and proud in GTB. This parade celebrates the united Tampa Pride community as it winds through the streets of Ybor City. Continue the celebration by closing out the night at the Tampa Cuban Club for the Pride at Night Concert.

When: Festival 10:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.; parade 4 p.m.; Pride at Night Concert 10:45 a.m. to 11 p.m. March 26

Tampa Bay AirFest

Warning: Heartrates may soar when the United States Navy Blue Angels perform. Featuring military and civilian flight performances and airplane displays on the MacDill tarmac, this air fest has something for everyone.

When: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 26 and 27
