2022 Greater Tampa Bay Fall Festivals

Falling leaves or not, GTB pulls out all the stops when it comes to celebrating fall. Get into the pumpkin spice-flavored spirit by attending these local fall activities.

Fall Family Fest at Waterworks Tampa

When: Sunday, September 25, 2022, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Where: Water Works Park, Tampa

Cost: Free

Delicious food, lively entertainment and giveaways — this fall festival hosted by the Tampa Bay Moms Group is fun for all ages. The event will feature interactive exhibits set up by local businesses and many other vendors, like food trucks, to add to the fall fun. Be sure to arrive early as the first 100 moms will receive a free swag bag.

Fox Squirrel Corn Maze

When: October 1 – October 23, Saturdays and Sundays only, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Where: The Single R Ranch, Plant City

Cost: $11/adult, $10/child, 2 & under free

The Fox Squirrel Corn Maze invites guests on a rustic adventure every weekend in October where they can shoot a scarecrow with a slingshot, rope a steer (a dummy, of course), go on a hayride, play badminton and cornhole, and get lost in a corn maze.

Oktoberfest Tampa

When: Friday, October 7 – Sunday, October 9, 2022

Where: Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, Tampa

Cost: $10/general admission, VIP available, kids 12 and under free

Celebrate fall with German flair by attending Tampa’s 12th annual Oktoberfest. For three days, the Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park is transformed into the city’s largest biergarten where guests can listen to live music, drink Oktoberfest craft beer and eat authentic Bavarian food (schnitzel, anyone?).

Scarecrow Festival

When: Saturday, October 8, 2022, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Where: Pioneer Florida Museum and Village, Dade City

Cost: $10/adult, $5/student, children 5 and under are free

Scarecrows, pumpkins and pony rides galore – this fall-tastic festival invites guests to build their own scarecrow, paint a pumpkin and meet some furry friends in the petting zoo. The festival will also feature food vendors, live music, children’s games and fun entertainment like Sphere’s Bubble Magic Show.

Honeymoon Island Fun Fest

When: Saturday, October 22 – Sunday, October 23

Where: Honeymoon State Park, Dunedin

Cost: Free

Enjoy fun fall activities while taking in beautiful scenery at this beachside festival. The Fun Fest will feature an arts market, outdoor games and activities, food trucks and live music.

47th Annual St Petersburg International Folk Fair

When: Saturday, October 22

After a two year hiatus, the SPIFF returns, transforming Albert Whitted Park into a microcosm of the world, with a multitude of ethnic crafts, arts, food, cooking demonstrations and special entertainment. Special feature includes the Grand Parade of Nations.

11th Annual Tampa Pig Jig

Where: Julien B. Lane Park, Tampa

Cost: $75

This charity event that features lip-smacking barbecue and spectacular live entertainment is a local favorite. Attendees can listen to music, eat delicious food, play games and take part in a silent auction for a fun-filled day. All proceeds will be donated to NephCure Kidney International.

Wesley Chapel Fall Festival

When: Saturday, October 29 – Sunday, October 30, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Where: Tampa Premium Outlets, Lutz

Cost: $10

Get in the Halloween spirit at this family-friendly street festival. The festival will feature a variety of food trucks, hayrides, a petting zoo, strolling characters, inflatables, live entertainment and the largest trunk-or-treat in the area.
