Mitch Permuy

The founder of Power Design, Mitch Permuy, is stepping in as CEO. Permuy co-founded the company in St. Petersburg in 1989 with his wife, and it is now one of the largest private companies in Greater Tampa Bay.

As a Certified Master Electrician in 17 states, and with more than 25 years of experience in designing, installing and leading complex electrical projects, it is only right that Permuy is the one to take the helm.

Andrew Wright

After a brief stint away, Andrew Wright said upon his return to CEO of Franklin Street that it felt like he never left. In early 2022, Wright stepped down to focus on his investment and development firm –– responsible for the opening of Boulon Brasserie.

Wright founded Franklin Street in 2006. It has since boomed, becoming a major player in the commercial real estate industry. In 2002, Wright earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from Miami University.

Anne Core

The St. Peters犀利士 burg Area Economic Development Corporation has promoted Anne Core to Vice President of Marketing & Communications. She graduated cum laude from Georgetown University with a B.A. in English Language and Literature. Core has over 12 years of experience in marketing, two of which were as director of marketing and communications with the EDC.

Denzel Johnson-Green

St. Petersburg poet and literary activist, Denzel Johnson-Green, was this year’s recipient of the Roy Peter Clark Literary Award. The award, only in its second year, goes to recognize the outstanding contributions made by the recipient to the greater St. Pete literary community.

Johnson-Green was presented the award during the Sunlit After Dark event at the Palladium Theater Side Door Café. The event also honored the four other finalists considered for the award.

The Kat White Team

Compass Florida recently expanded to Florida with the Kat White team, led by Kat White and Mackenzie Currie. The Kat White Team is a group of realtors committed to delivering exceptional service and exceeding their client’s expectations.
