Greater Tampa Bay is perfect for spending fun quality time with the kids.

Discover outside adventures

It is no secret that the heart of the sunshine state has some of the most famous weather conditions all year round. Travelers worldwide come to experience sun, beaches and aquatic life throughout the entire year.

Grab the family and head to TreeHoppers Aerial Adventure Park for friendly competition from the above. Climb up the trees and see who can solve zip lines and treetop obstacles. The children get to compete and motivate each other to face their fears and obstacles on the way.

For a calmer day, take a short drive to meet cute farm animals at Dakin Dairy Farms. On the 1,000-acre farm, children learn about dairy products and the importance of taking care of animals. They offer fun activities, including bottle-feeding calves, butter making and Dakin product tasting.

Get in touch with nature at Sunken Gardens in St. Petersburg. Their botanic beauty amazes visitors every time. Families can expect incredible walking tours through the gardens, learn about tropical plants and befriend flamingos.

Explore wildlife

There is nothing better than exotic animals to keep the kids happy. Visit ZooTampa at Lowry Park for a range of diverse wildlife. It has been recognized and acknowledged by happy families, recommending it as one of the best zoos.

Clearwater Marine Aquarium and Tarpon Springs Aquarium are perfect for viewing underwater wildlife. The family gets to see what animals are hiding under the sea’s surface. Both aquariums offer incredible opportunities and are unique in their own ways. Clearwater Marine Aquarium focuses on marine life health care. They are a nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and releasing sick and injured marine animals. Tarpon Springs Aquarium allows visitors to interact with the wildlife, including feeding stingrays, petting an alligator and holding a python.
