While support for the Pride community lasts all year long in GTB, June is a month to love. Thousands come together to show their support. At St. Pete Pride Festival, all are invited. First starting as a “Pride Promenade,” this special event has become the biggest Pride celebration in Florida and ranked in the world’s top 40 largest Pride celebrations.
There would be no St. Pete Pride without all its volunteers. Every year, hundreds of people volunteer to help bring the events together. Many enthusiastically participate and help make the celebrations spectacular. They have constantly put new voices in charge for over two decades to get a bigger perspective. The organization wants all voices in the LGBTQIA+ community to be respected, valued and celebrated.
People can expect a month full of events starting off with a Kickoff Block Party on Central Ave. Bring friends; there will be dancing on the streets, live entertainment and great company.
