Peak Surf Park has chosen Greater Tampa Bay as their home bringing 30 acres of lagoon, beach and boardwalk as well as other sports, restaurants, retail, clubhouse, festive field and more. They are still selecting a location in either Pinellas or Hillsborough County and once selected it could take 2-3 years to build.
While there will be incredible advanced and expert waves, there will be lots of easy waves for the moms and little surfers. Hourly costs and memberships plan to be affordable and competitive with other similar wave parks.
They are partnering with Surf Lakes out in Australia that has a simple concept producing the best waves in the world. It allows all skill levels to participate in a surf session at the same time.
“Chair lifts made the sport of skiing accessible to everyone, and it exploded. Along with it came retail, residential, hospitality… entire towns were built around the slopes. And surf parks are about to do the same for surfing. People from all walks of life will be enjoying the thrill of gliding down a wave before you know it.”

The park is working with a sustainable architect and accreditation organization that will measure ten distinct criteria for certification. They are also dedicated to being a community partner offering programming to underserved markets.
Hang loose everyone, that perfect wave is coming!
