Celebrate Father’s Day with These Activities in Greater Tampa Bay

Looking for ways to celebrate Dad on Father’s Day? Guide has got it covered. If Dad is a nature enthusiast, check out many of Greater Tampa Bay’s scenic nature trails. Hillsborough River State Park is comprised of seven miles of nature trails and is only minutes from downtown Tampa. With numerous trails for nature viewing, visitors can also view the Class II river rapids or kayak along the Hillsborough River. Or, ramble along the shaded foot bridges among gigantic cypress or sprawling oaks at Alderman’s Ford Conservation Park.
For dads that are of the thrill-seeking variety, Busch Gardens Summer Nights might be just the thing. Starting on May 26 and continuing until August 6, visitors can experience shows, thrilling attractions, fireworks and more.
If he loves to golf, check out the variety of golf courses Greater Tampa Bay has to offer. From the Westchase Golf Club to TPC Tampa Bay, there is sure to be something to suit any dad’s taste.

Richard’s Father’s Day Walk & Jog
Walk, run or jog at this family-friendly Father’s Day event to fight cancer. Beginning at the Ulele restaurant, participants have the option to complete a 5k or 1-mile course. The event is free for children 12 and under. Proceeds will go to the Moffitt Cancer Center.
