eSchools Provide Quality Education with Convenience

Students across the vast Greater Tampa Bay region enjoy eSchool options in Hillsborough, Pasco and Pinellas counties’ school districts.

Pinellas County School District has three sets of curricula for online learners in the region, offering elementary, middle and high school curriculum to respective age students. In addition, Pinellas’s virtual learning program is available for students who live outside the county.

Pinellas Parents Educators Association is an excellent resource for parents to help their children succeed. The resource makes it possible for parents to personalize programs most beneficial for their children and register the student with the respective county.

Hillsborough Virtual School boasts quality online learning. The district goes above and beyond to serve advanced placement students, working learners, military children, individualized education programs, amateur athletes and students catching up.

Students and teachers constantly connect throughout the curriculum by replacing in-person learning with video chat, email and phone communication. As for Eschool extracurricular activities, the learning method does not miss a beat, connecting at-home learners with their peers through school teams and clubs.

The innovative learning method also hosts field trips, giving homeschool students the total academic experience set to the public school calendar. If students want the best of both worlds, Hillsborough K-12 Virtual allows co-enrollment, taking some classes at school and others at home. In addition, an array of support services is available with the Eschool program.

Students in the Pasco County School District range from kindergarten to senior year. Learners in sixth- through 12th-grades can dual-enroll, spending half the day on campus and the other half homeschooling.

The district’s personalized learning experience boasts a U.S. News & World Report excellent education ranking, along with in-school learning as one the Sunshine State’s best high schools. In addition, the latest technology, digitally savvy teachers and supportive services virtually educate co-enrolled students in any district’s public, private or charter school.

Along with regional public school districts, other parochial homeschooling options are available, including Tampa Bay Community Homeschool, Tampa Covenant Homeschoolers, THINK Tampa Homeschoolers and Victorious Homeschoolers Cooperative.

Be it public or private, parents who apply for student homeschooling must submit a signed letter of intent including full legal name, address and birthdate of child and file it in the district superintendent’s office one month before beginning the program.
